The total costs for the complete course (8 classes) and the total tuition for the full Residential Handyman program is $52,400.00. Prospective students are required to pay no application fee along with the tuition for each course is $6,550.00. It is very costly, some times dangerous, timely, and not effective for most companies to train new workers on the job. Students will be given a variety of tasks and required to demonstrate them successfully. Labs create real jobsite settings so that students can spend time developing and mastering the skills under supervision. S tudents will have many opportunities to practice skills. T he instructors will reinforce your learning by providing examples and actual demonstration. Each course has its own certificate program.Īfter students receive instruction in the classroom, they get to spend most of their time perfecting what they have learned in the labs. This 64-week program is broken down into eight 8-week courses. This program is a comprehensive skill-based hands-on training program that consists of eight (8) courses that support individual skills in the following areas: Painting, Drywall Repair and Installation, Flooring, Basic Plumbing ,Basic Electrical and Carpentry 1-4. The student must complete all eight courses to receive the Residential Handyman Certificate. The ultimate goal is to prepare the student in a way that they would master the techniques using a hands-on process and provide them with the experience which will help the student with job placement. Students are required to demonstrate their knowledge of various skills, that will be taught, in order to successfully complete the training program. In each class students are given a variety of tasks and assignments that will support them in becoming a Residential Handyman. The students must complete all 8 certificate courses to receive the Residential Handyman certificate. This program is made up of eight courses with 8 separate certificates. This is a eighty-week (80 weeks) skill building training program that supports the student in becoming a Certified Residential Handyman.
